I'M BACK!

I had this cartoon all planned out for you and everything, but alas, my computer hates me, and you don't get it. So here:

School has begun for me and I must say, I actually hate the fact that I only get to go two days a week. Yes, I'm a geek. I'm aware. Read the title.

 One of my favorite classes so far is creative writing. We're currently doing poetry. Which has never really been my thing, but I'm willing to try anything once I suppose.

One of our current projects is a poem a day. Technically, we're finished, but I think it's a good creative exercise, and it will also give me some material for this here blog since I've kinda been slacking. Which I could say is not my fault since I can't load cartoons but I still should have risen above it, so I'll try to remedy that.

So. The poem of the day:

I do not sleep at night

                There is a house

                There is a room

                There is fear

                And there is blood

I dream that I’m with Him

                There is a man

                There is a gun

                There is a shot

                And there is blood

I hold Him in my arms as he fades

                There is despair

                There is pain

                There is crying

                And there Is blood

I cry out Love and His eyes lose light

                There is darkness

                There is death

                There is love

                And there is blood

I do not sleep at night.
